I can set your guitar up as you want it, high or low action, fixed or floating tremolo. General cleaning and servicing. Nut replacement, hardware or pickup replacement or upgrades. A large variety or rewiring options, I have several wiring books covering most makes of guitar. Electrical component replacement and upgrades. Neck Scalloping

You can have a go at scalloping a neck yourself but I would not advise it! I know people who have made a great job of it but I know others who have ruined a neck, all it takes is to get over enthusiastic with the file or sandpaper! Scalloping takes a lot of planning and preparation work before beginning the process of removing wood from between the frets. A scallop can be full or partial neck, either a uniform scallop as preferred by Malmsteen or a graduated scallop as used by Blackmore. Which ever you are thinking about get in touch and I will get back to you.

Stainless Steel Tremolo Arm

One custom item I make is a "Blackmore" stainless steel tremolo arm. It is made from 1/4" stainless steel rod the same as the ones fitted to his Strats. If you want one for your Strat I will need the complete tremolo unit to modify it to take the larger diameter arm.

Cables

I make up quality screened cables of any length to order, either mono or balanced as used with the noise reduction system I manufacture. Cables are £1.75 per metre + £6.00 for plugs and P&P within the UK.

MASTER Knob

Are you looking for that something to finalise your Blackmore Strat? A MASTER knob could be what it needs. These simply aren't available anywhere, I make them myself. A MASTER knob is £12.00 incl P&P within the UK.
Please note: due to production problems the MASTER knob is currently unavailable. If you want a master knob drop me an email and I will advise you as soon as I am able to suppy them again.

Pickguards

I can make you a straightforward replacement standard pickguard or custom pickguard to your specifications. Shown on the right is a pickguard made for a Flying V from sheet material.

Please note: other than for the impedance balancer, noise filter and cables I do not have set prices for my work, the cost of parts etc can vary depending on exchange rates and the like. See my Cost Guide page to give you an idea. If there is work you would like done drop me an email and I will give you an estimate.
